Head Coach Judd Xavier
As a CrossFit Level 2 Strength Coach, Judd has been
involved in the industry since 1995 and is
certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (H/FI). His background in
health and fitness includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology
from San Francisco State University. With an emphasis on exercise
science and fitness, his studies included corporate wellness and
fitness management. His specialty certifications include CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Coach taught by coach Mike Burgener and Egoscue P.A.S. As an Egoscue method Posture
Alignment Specialist, he can mitigate pain and address postural
deviations. After many years of strength and conditioning training, he
now coaches the CrossFit Method of constantly varied,
highly intense, functional workouts as his system of choice.
In 2005, he stumbled across www.crossfit.com and drank the
"kool-aid". Impressed and humbled by the workout of the day, he
realized there is much more to be learned and much to teach. After
absorbing the open source CrossFit method like a sponge, Judd's head
first dive into the benchmark workouts and the refining of form and
technique to groups large and small became a passion. He learns more and more each day from being able to teach and coach so many different people and bring them to fitness levels beyond their expectations.
Coach Michaela Xavier
The sport of fitness has been part of my life since I was four years
old. I have started with gymnastics that built a great foundation in
becoming a competitive member of Czech Republic acrobatic skiing team.
Fitness is my passion. My career started after I met my husband, who
became my mentor in personal training. His patient teaching style and
many years experience in fitness helped me grow in my journey bringing
enduring results to my clients. Becoming a personal trainer is such a
blessing to me. The doors have been opened for me to continually expand
my knowledge and potential within the current fitness revolution. I
always believe in practicing what I preach, and be the best example,
motivator, and fun-fitness trainer/companion. My present goal is to
become a Pro Figure Competitor, which requires much hard work and very
strict diet. My dedication brings inspiration. Getting in shape and
staying in shape is not easy; however, I believe I can present workouts
that will keep everyone interested and motivated.
I am a CrossFit Method certified trainer and CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting certified coach, who leads by example and strives for virtuosity. I have been raised by tough Eastern-European culture, so my philosophy of achieving the results are number one - you will work hard, have dedication, and stay consistent! Will you meet my standards when I am through with you? Set your personal goals, and live well for the rest of your life! Don't wait any longer!
Coach Matt "Sparks" Smith
My entire life has been filled with physical activity and
personal challenges. I played football and baseball all throughout my childhood
and through high school, until injuries and physical limitations (height)
brought my career as a competitive athlete to an abrupt end. However, my
competitive nature and need for physical challenge brought me to CrossFit in
October of 2008. I fell in love with the training program because every time I
came in for a work out it was the new, most humbling experience of my life.
CrossFit has become a sanctuary for me to explore my physical and mental capacities.
The rush of emotion after putting yourself through such a challenging workout
is real and is something truly special that very few programs embody. In my
short time at X-body, I’ve witnessed incredible strides in individuals
physically. But, even more so, I’ve seen an awesome, close-knit community
formed within the gym and that is what draws me to CrossFit.
During my classes, I strive to create a fun, challenging
atmosphere that people feel comfortable in. There is absolutely no way around
the amazing physical and mental development that CrossFit offers. Therefore, my
classes will revolve around the principles of CrossFit and I will try to use my
time to maximize results in individuals and develop a great community. Judd has
given me a great opportunity to be a venue for you guys to reach your goals in
the gym and that’s exactly what I would love to do. I practice what I preach
and that’s what I think makes me a solid trainer. However, I’m a student to the world of fitness and life in general and am always looking to learn more. I can’t
wait to see what I can learn through all of you.
Special shout out and thanks to Tim Dymmel who actually introduced me to CrossFit and has been a huge impact in helping me grow as an athlete, trainer, and person.

Coach Houng Arcinas
I was born in Bangkok, Thailand and came to the states when I was 3
days old. My native language is Vietnamese. I come from a family of 3
brothers and 1 sister.
We were all active in some sort of competitive sport. I enjoyed
cheerleading and running the most. I found the passion for lifting
weights at 18 years old where I hired my first trainer at a Gold’s Gym.
I got married literally the day before my 21st birthday, and currently have 2 beautiful children. It was after my first born, Lana, now 6 years old, that my body had a complete change for the better.I began researching fitness competitions and recalled figure competitions really exploding at the time. With great support from my loving husband, family, and friends, I entered my first show in 2003 and have been challenged and hooked ever since! In 2005, I came quite close to earning professional status at Figure Nationals taking 3rd place. I took a break and had my son Kairon, now 2 years old. I begin prep almost immediately. When he was 7 months old I hit the stage. I turned IFBB Professional stage a few months later. That is my testimony. With patience, hard work, and my faith in my God and the direction he has driven me, I believe ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
Thank you to my awesome team. Kim Oddo, my nutritionist, my dear friend and trainer Connie Longoria, Optimum Nutrition and ABB,
everyone associated with X-body Fitness, Michaela and Judd Xavier, who
help make the quality of my life so much better. My wonderful clients
who are my #1 fans, I love you guys so much!
God has given me a wonderful gift of encouraging others, and I’ve found a rewarding career out of it. I’m looking forward to a great future, taking nothing for granted. I thank all my family and friends for their love and committed support!

RKC Joe Sarti
I am very excited about the continued evolution and growth of my
business where beginning Tuesday I will be teaching a Kettlebell Class
at X-Body Fitness in San Jose. For quite some time I have been in
discussions with my friend Judd Xavier (one of the owners of X-Body)
about joining in. He and his partner Fred Zabala have a beautiful
12,000 square foot gym with lots of toys and space for me to teach the
Kettlebell.
For now I will be teaching at 12pm class on
tuesday and thursdays and I will have the opportunity to train clients
there as well. In addition, I will have the opportunity to learn and
share with other trainers including my good friend Kendrick Huey.
X-Body,
Girya, Cisco, Apple, and in-home training all provide me the means to
run a business/practice and spread the good word while guiding people
to a healthier lifestyle and better well being. There is more brewing
as I have a number of Seminars I will be giving coming up in the coming
months as well as attending. I am looking forward to getting in front
of large audiences and educating as well as sharing philosophies,
principles, concepts, etc. on how to be healthy.
I am thankful and grateful for all those who provide me the space and place to offer my services.
